Inna's Story

I am truly grateful to Christina and her team at Church Without Walls for organizing meetings for Ukrainian refugees. Their support makes me feel valued and relaxed. The topics we discuss are always meaningful and relevant. These gatherings help take my mind off heavy thoughts and daily routines.   The "Butterflies" meetings, where we paint, are special to me. In these meetings, we discuss our internal transformation as women. Each topic discussed and each painting helps us to see ourselves as...read more

Cristina's Story

Hello! I am a refugee from Ukraine who moved to Transnistria because of the war. Many of the other refugees I have met in Transnistria come mostly from the cities of Odesa, Nikolaev, and Kherson, Ukraine. The war drove each of us out into the street—experiencing the loss of homes, children, husbands, and property. Here in Transnistria, we met people from Church Without Walls. We were shown love, attention, support, care, and invited to meetings for refugee women. We look forward to these meetings, greeted...read more

Valya's Story

When I attend meetings for refugees at the Church Without Walls, I seem to fall into a world of bliss, spirituality, and peace; it feels calm and comfortable. I always eagerly await these meetings. It is a very warm and friendly atmosphere. We gather, take pictures, paint, pour coffee, and listen to deep and spiritual themes as we paint. I love that our hostess, Christina, gently blends psychology and the Bible. During the meetings, we hear from God’s Word, listen to music, and are met by kind and caring people....read more

Ministry to Ukrainian Refugees
Since the war began in February 2022, thousands of Ukrainian families have fled to Transnistria. Summit Missions’ workers are meeting urgent needs—providing food, clothing, and community for refugee women and children.

One international worker regularly brings together 40–60 women in a welcoming space over coffee and tea, where they laugh, cry, share stories of grief and loss, and experience healing through group art projects such as paint-by-number canvases. Most importantly, they hear the hope of the Gospel. Many have connected to local churches, and several have come to faith in Jesus Christ. Truly, God is bringing beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3).

Let’s GIVE THANKS for this transforming work!
